HAIR TUTORIAL
Check out the below tutorial to learn how you can also create those perfect curls all in the comfort of your own home.
The Cwick Curl is the new hottest trend for curling your hair. It’s effortless, simple and ‘Cwick’. This innovative tool does all the work to create chic salon waves with one simple press of a button.
Say goodbye to nasty burns, uneven curls, and frustrating techniques. The automatic barrel is a game-changer for everyday curling. Simply place the hair in the barrel and press the button for the magic to begin - hold for approximately 5 seconds and release.
Cwick Curl is suitable for all hair types and lengths from short bobs to long hair!
Step 1. Hair should be clean, dry, and free of tangles before using. Always work in sections of approximately 5cm. Press and hold the ON/OFF button and adjust the temperature using the ON/OFF button to reach your desired heat. For healthier styling, we suggest using 160°C/190°C heat setting unless you have very coarse/thick hair. We also recommend using a professional heat protector before any heat styling.
Step 2. Start by dividing the hair into sections, smaller sections will create more defined curls. Using one section at a time, place the hair in the barrel side closest to your face and about an inch off the roots, then press the button to initiate rotation. Remember you are always working with the barrel and rotation button closest to you, to create waves away from your face
When pressing the rotation button it will begin to rotate the hair into the barrel. Once all the hair is wrapped around the barrel, hold for approximately 3-5 seconds (longer time for thick hair or defined curls, and less for fine hair or relaxed curls)
Hold the section of curled hair from above the barrel, and gently release the hair out by pulling it upward, and the barrel down. Repeat this process for each section across the head, and changing the placement of the hair in the barrel when working on alternating sides.
Step 3. Once you have finished curling, make sure the hair has completely cooled down before touching it to allow time to set. For a beachy effortless wave, brush the curls out with a wide-tooth comb. - and just like that, you’ve become a “Cwick” Queen!
